The UK PMCPA has released new social media guidance
The Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority (PMCPA) recently released their new Social Media Guidance.
Established in 1993, the PMCPA is the self-regulatory body which administers the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry, independently of the ABPI.
With increasing use of social media globally, pharmaceutical companies may consider social media as an opportunity to engage target audiences and build brand awareness.
