HRS has experienced significant growth within its first three years; from what started as a small communications company serving clients with nutritional content has fast evolved into a full-service agency boasting a portfolio of small to medium enterprises to blue chip companies within healthcare, nutrition and medical sectors.

“Part of HRS’s growth strategy is to complement its current expert content creators with an end-to-end solution, now including design and digital marketing. This full-service approach has led to the creation of multiple roles within the team, and the talent pool continues to grow as HRS appeals to highly skilled specialists in their field of expertise”.

Rachel White, COO of HRS

We spoke to one of our account managers, Cheryl McGregor, to dive deeper into HRS:

What is your role as an account manager?

Being an account manager comes with several different roles. Our work-back plan contains all deliverables and deadlines which I update accordingly. The briefs developed for new content ideas would always have to be signed off by the client. Our HRS content creators are then briefed accordingly to deliver on the content and deadlines that were put in place. I internally review and sign-off content with meticulous attention to detail before submitting to the client. Finally, all budgets are updated according to the refreshed content strategy and then delivered to the client for approval. At this point, negotiations can then occur e.g., how to flex requirements to meet the discussed budget.

What services do you support clients with as an account manager?

As an account manager, I ensure the smooth-running of our client’s accounts. This may involve supporting with:

Strategy

Presentation of this strategy

Proposals and costings (working to a client’s budget)

Publication bookings and liaising with relevant bodies to set up events (e.g., webinars, conference slots and round tables)

Overseeing our content creation team (e.g., medical writers, audio/visual editors)

Managing the accreditation process by professional bodies for company content

Graphic design work to support content provided

Weekly status updates with the client to ensure progress is aligned with goals and that we’re meeting deadlines.

What new services are HRS now able to offer clients?

We now offer full-service graphic design services – whether that be on an article, infographics, advertorials, banners, or a regulatory affairs guide. HRS will handle everything from strategic planning to the production and then implementation. We always strive to be very flexible to client’s requirements and have been known to work to some very tight timelines!

Could you give me an example of a time where you have led the full project?

We worked with a brand to refresh their healthcare professional strategy so that it aligned with their client focus and internal strategy. The brand had a strategy of deliverables that included adverts, webinars, articles and focus interviews and we assisted by helping to write the content and coordinate events. We updated the content that was planned in the original annual strategy so that it was fit for purpose and would deliver in line with the new direction that the client wanted to focus on. This meant deciding on new content ideas and activities.

We are proud to be a full-service agency and look towards the future with excitement and ambition as we continue to expand our services to further help and benefit our clients.
