HRS Communications’ very own Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Scientist Dr Kathryn O’Sullivan featured as a guest on a recent episode of the Table Talk Podcast, brought to us by Food Matters.

Food Matters is a global community connecting people working in sustainable food innovation, nutrition, and health, enabling them to share the latest industry news, insights, and stories. Launched in 2019, Table Talk provides unique insight into key industry trends by hosting discussions with experts across the fields of food and nutrition. Ranking in the top 10 food podcasts on Apple in the UK, the podcast has reached over 50,000 listeners in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Kathryn joined Table Talk’s host, science writer and broadcaster Stefan Gates, and Registered Nutritionist and Rowett Institute scientist Dr Alexandra Johnstone to examine the science behind satiety and the foods that help us feel full. In the episode, the panel discussed:

Why do certain foods stimulate our appetite even though we aren’t hungry?
How do certain foods or meals satiate our appetite more than others?
How can we be more attuned to satiety to eat healthier?
Do certain foods help control our appetite better than others?

Table Talk can be found on Apple and Spotify, listen to the episode here
